| Sumario: | This article aims to disseminate the analysis of the development of a Didactic Sequence, which was carried out in a State School of Basic Education in the municipality of Sorriso-MT. The development of the activity followed the action research methodology, with direct participation of the researcher in the research field and data collection for qualitative research occurred. The Didactic Sequence was developed in a 2nd year high school class, in the second two months of 2022, in the Youth and Adult Education (EJA) modality. Scientific Literacy based on the theme of healthy eating provided a reflection and debate on the theme and contributed to raising awareness of the importance of eating habits for a healthier life. From the indicators of Scientific Literacy proposed by several authors, it was verified that there was an improvement in the language of the studies, since they changed the use of common sense terms for scientific terms, evidencing the construction of some concepts. |
