Description
Summary:The predominance of information and communication technologies today has led Information Science to different contexts of time and space. The era of interactive knowledge and the Space of knowledge bring new perspectives regarding the conception and use of technologies. Using exploratory and descriptive analysis as our methodological procedure, and taking as our theoretical framework consolidated authors in the area, we intend to discuss these changes and ponder on how Information Science has positioned itself in face of these challenges. It was observed that critical thought becomes a possible alternative for understanding technologies without a determinist prerogative.
