Descripción
Sumario:The theory of separation of powers and the system of checks and balances have made great contributions over the centuries and, in this article, after going through its philosophical basis in Europe, it will be analyzed under the focus of the work The Federalist Articles, in the United States United. You will observe the context of the United States at the time the work was written by James Madison, Alexander Hamilton and John Jay, when, under the collective pseudonym Publius, these federalist authors tried to convince the population that the best solution for America was that of ratifying the Constitution that was being proposed, so that the form of government would change from Confederation to Federalism. Finally, it will point out the contributions of The Federalist Articles to the theory of the separation of powers and the system of checks and balances.
