Sumario:Rondon Project is a project of social integration coordinated by The Defense Ministry with the collaboration of several ministries and the Army support. The project involves voluntary activities from university students and it tries to get these students close to the country reality, and also to contribute for the development of the helped communities. São Paulo State University, through the Extension Pro Rectory (PROEX), has been participating actively, sending work proposes, presented by teachers from several campus and has been trying to attend the Set of actions A and B (A: citizenship and welfare, B: sustainable local development and public administration). The objectiveis to evidence, analyze, evaluate, develop and execute actions that attend the real necessities of the inserted Brazilian localities in Amazônia Operation 2006. It also aims at contributing, integrating, consolidating and stimulating the young Brazilian university student, torwards social and collective responsibility, in favor of the citizenship, of the development of the defense of the national interests in partnerships with the attended communities. In order to accomplish this, we used articulated and integrated quantitative and qualitative approaches and survey research.. As a result, actions (lectures, workshops, courses, minicourses and practical lessons) had been developed in the following areas: Education; Environment: Health and Odontology. These actions had enclosed a total of 926 people of the community of Jordão-AC and 55 people out of the total were multipliers.. Thus, the actions carried out in the city of Jordão in the State of Acre, in 2006, gave our students the chance to practisel the knowledge acquired in the University and hence took development to the devoid communities. The actions of Set A, regarding citizenship and welfare developed in Jordão-AC succeeded, becuase of the importance and relevance of the subjects, the participation of the local community and the expressive number of multipliers that it trined during our intervention.
