Descripción
Sumario:We show the main features of optical vortices with orbital angular momentum in the paraxial regime, and how to produce and characterize such beams. An outline of the parametric amplification process, in the context of an optical parametric oscillator will be done, followed by a study of spatial modes dynamics in such a device. Stationary solutions will be shown for the OPO with and without injected signal in the converted beams, including the linear stability analysis. We show that there is a phase conjugation of the geometric phase of the injected signal, as a consequence of the correlation between the converted beams. Finally, we will propose an experiment to measure this effect.
