Sumario:The current paper presents the main componentes of John Locke`s philosophy when it comes to freedom of speech. To  understand  freedom  of  speech  in  John  Locke,  initially,  his  philosophy  will  be contextualized in the grave political process to which England went through, to later examine his main work, in his vast bibliography, that deals with the theme.
