| Sumario: | The social environmental problems that Itacaré fate, it has increased over the past two decades because of the adopted tourism model. This aims to discuss other means for local development and environmental and economic sustainability. Among numerous models, the possibility arises of Tourism Experience, which goes towards the development of local culture through stories, emotions and adventures based on the assumptions of the Dreams Society Theory. This research, performed between 2010 and 2011, seeks to examine whether this theoretical perspective may represent a new alternative to the social and economic destination. The methodology used was studying of case, through SWOT, and getting data through questionnaires. It shows that it is feasible to adopt the Tourism of Experience to stimulate the development Of Itacaré, valuing the cultural aspects and sustainability, dealing to extenuate the serious problems already faced by the destination. |
