Resumo:In this article, we deal with the experience of participatory construction of the Municipal Plan for Early Childhood of São Gonçalo (PMPI/SG), having as scope of analysis the relevance of registration and pedagogical documentation as instruments that enable observation, investigation and reflection on political processes-pedagogical. In this sense, we explore, based on the relationship between experience and theory, the contributions of registration and pedagogical documentation as a source of information and reflections on the learning processes experienced by the collective of subjects involved in the proposal for the elaboration of public policies for children from zero to six years of age in the city of São Gonçalo/RJ.
