Sumario:This article presents aspects of Portuguese linguistic variation in the state of Amapá. As a theoretical discussion, Meyerhoff (2006) and Calvet (2002) are used to locate the sociolinguistic presupposed, as well Cardoso (2010) to locate the dialetological presupposed. Then, the variationist investigations carried out on the Portuguese spoken in Amapá are presented, seeking to contemplate the following levels of linguistic variation: phonetic-phonological, semantic-lexical, morphosynthetic and prosodic. In this way, 22 works were identified that deal with phonetic-phonological variation, 21 on semantic-lexical variation, 5 on morphosynthetic variation and only 2 on prosodic variation. From these studies, it is possible to draw a preliminary linguistic profile of Portuguese spoken in Amapá in different points of the region, how to know the lexical denominations, for example, for garoa, conjuntivite, nuca, cambalhota etc., used in Portuguese spoken in Amapá. It is also possible to visualize how the /S/ e /R/ phonemes behave in syllabic coda, as posterior and anterior middle vowel and palatalization of two phonemes /t/ e /d/ before /i/ e /e/, besides to identify the linguistic and extralinguistic influences for nominal concord of the number of people from Oiapoque and to observe the entoational variation of people from Macapá.
