| Sumario: | The history of social rights in Brazil is linked to itself with the development of citizenship.The achievement of some of the guarantees in terms of positive these rights requires greater understanding of the labor organization in the country in the fight for better conditions of life and work. In this sense, unions related to the process of expanding the protection and realization of social rights, in particular the protection of workers and participate in these boards and other public spaces. Thus, this paper aims at analyzing the social and political factors that have contributed to the formal recognition of the Unions in the Brazilian legal system, although the understanding of issues such as citizenship, freedom of association and human rights are required. |
