| Resumo: | Cutaneous leishmaniasis (CL) is an endemic anthropozoonosis found at all Brazilian regions. Typical clinical feature of CL is a painless crater-shaped ulcer localized on exposed parts of the body. Periocular involvement is unusual. Our purpose is to describe a rare variant of CL, the erysipeloid presentation, on periocular region and to discuss clinical and diagnostic features and treatment of CL. |
