| Resumo: | Through the contact with a school in a traditional quilombola region (Palmares, AL, Brazil), and through the kids narratives that showed a devalued imagination of their black identity, we've made a bibliographic research, specifically about the ethnical and racial subjects, that gave us the theoretical support needed to get to know and comprehend the current racism, prejudice and racial discrimination debates, especially in the educational field. This study identified that there is no research specifically about the formation of ethnical-racial identity in the quilombola educational field. We could conclude that Muquém quilombola need to have the opportunity to build healthy relationships with themselves and with their peers and that be based on the valorization of quilombola identity. |
