Descrição
Resumo:This article investigates the present and the future of the right to decent work, outlining a scenario of reflection about its promises and the challenges that lie ahead, especially when considering the peculiar conditions caused by the rise of new technologies. In this sense, the work is divided into three parts. In the first, there is the study of the concept of decent work based on the norms of the International Labor Organization and the 2030 Agenda of the United Nations. Then, in the second part, there are arguments in the sense of demonstrating the right to decent work as a parameter for investigating sustainable development, and this in the light of the dignity of workers in the digital age. Finally, the final part of the work is aimed at proposing reflections on the future of the right to decent work, punctuating the threats to its realization, as well as favorable conditions for it.
