| Resumo: | This article is the result of a PhD research which aimed to highlight the significant psychological process of change of clients who received psychological care based on the perspective of the Person-Centered Approach (ACP), founded by Carl Rogers. The researcher implemented a walking in clinic for employees of a general hospital as part of a psychological service. This kind of attendance led to a deconstruction of the traditional way of practicing clinical psychology, mainly on temporal and relational dimensions. The phenomenological method adopted in this study permitted to apprehend the meaning of the experience of the clients through narratives written by the researcher on the psychological attendance sessions. A significant psychological changing process was observed deriving from the walking in kind of attendance with positive impact to clients’ symbolization of living experiences. |
