| Sumario: | Despite scientific and technological advances, education is still linked to more traditional approaches. However, innovative measures are beginning to emerge in the area, enabling the creation of opportunities and ways to learn and teach. The present work presents the analysis of one of such measures, Google Classroom, used as a Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) in order to contribute to student learning in an online extension course. To achieve this, a virtual classroom was created containing potentially significant materials to promote a more effective learning of the concepts related to the selected theme, Spectroscopy in the Infrared Region. The experiment demonstrated that Google Classroom is an excellent virtual environment that can be used in distance learning, providing efficient collaboration between teachers and students. In addition, it was also noted that the students found this VLE easy to use and that, despite missing some important tools, it reached its goal. |
