Eleven points attesting the geological-geomorphological evolution were selected, as well as points demonstrating the relationship between geodiversity and biodiversity present in the geosite. The points are connected along a system of four interpretive trails or pathways with different levels of difficulty. This research aims at contributing to the development of geotourism in Caçapava do Sul as one of the necessary actions in territories which aspire to become a UNESCO-certified Global Geopark.   El objetivo principal de esta investigación es identificar, evaluar y describir los puntos que mejor representan los elementos de la geodiversidad del local geológico de interés ‘Guaritas do Camaquã’, en Caçapava do Sul (centro-sur de Rio Grande do Sul / Brasil). Han sido seleccionados once puntos que representan la evolución geológica y geomorfológica, así como puntos que demuestran la relación entre la geodiversidad y la biodiversidad presente en el geositio. Los puntos están conectados a lo largo de un sistema de cuatro senderos interpretativos con diferentes niveles de dificultad. Dicha investigación busca contribuir con el desarrollo del geoturismo en Caçapava do Sul como una de las acciones necesarias en los territorios que aspiran a convertirse en un Geoparque Mundial certificado por la UNESCO.   O objetivo central do presente trabalho foi identificar, avaliar e descrever os pontos que melhor representam os elementos da geodiversidade do geossítio Guaritas do Camaquã, em Caçapava do Sul (centro-sul do Rio Grande do Sul/Brasil). Foram selecionados onze pontos que representam a evolução geológica-geomorfológica, assim como pontos que evidenciam a relação da geodiversidade com a biodiversidade presente no geossítio. Os pontos estão conectados ao longo em um sistema de quatro trilhas interpretativas com diferentes níveis de dificuldade.
