| Sumario: | This paper aims at an elucidation of an underrated aspect of Guimarães Rosa’s political ideas, as they are expressed in Grande sertão: veredas. Such an aspect belongs to the complex relationship between action and inaction. For this purpose, a comparison with certain issues from contemporary thought will be at stake; some references Rosa himself makes regarding Oriental philosophy, especially the Dao de Jing, will also be explored. |
