Among various aspects, the theme of the foundation of the law or its justification has occupied a prominent place in the discussions. In this article, we will analyze the idea of law in Hobbes. Our focus is the question of the validity of law. Some controversies such as the alleged Hobbesian decisionism will also be approached.
