Therefore, this paper questions how the democratic nation-state can regain its decision-making sovereignty in a “borderless” world? This paper intends to disseminate the discussion on theneed to expand democratic boundaries in the global economicfield. For this, the deductive method and bibliographic review will be used. This paper considers that the elaboration of asupranational legal order is one of the possible ways to overcomethe current crisis of the Nation-State.
