Descripción
Sumario:The historical-social constitution of the post-truth phenomenon and, in the journalistic scope, the so-called “fake news” are investigated, analyzing them as resulting from the economic, social and ideological processes characteristic of the mutations in the metabolic system of capital. Thus, it seeks to understand the relationship  between the changes of the economic order and the consolidation and intensification of postmodernity, the ideological and cultural dimension of late capitalism, in its recent insertion in the daily sphere, the post-truth. Through the debate about the lukacsian categories of irrationalism and ideological decadence, it is proposed a reflection on the ontological foundations of journalistic misinformation and, consequently, the loss of the objective reality promoted by it.
