| Sumario: | The article analyzes the interchangeable signs between the verbal and the iconic in Brazilian soap opera openings, emphasizing the magnifying of the written space, which implies an aesthetic challenge. An intersemiotic reading investigates creative practices that integrate visual and verbal signs, departing from graphic computer devices. There is also an attempt to sketch the fundamental theoretic concepts about media textualities. Another objective is to question the kinetic form exploitation in words and letters, as well as their chromatic nuances and textures that very often fall short (are inferior) if compared to the inventive treatment to the images per se. |
