| Sumario: | Having been used since early times, ergonomics is the science concerned with studying the interactions of humans with their work environment, and the positive and negative effects of this relation. The approaches used in the study of ergonomics are basically two: the Anglo-Saxon and the French which, though being complementary, present some divergent aspects. However, both share the common goal of adapting work to man by preventing accidents, promoting comfort, improving income, and providing greater satisfaction to the worker. |
