Descrição
Resumo: This article deals with the concept of freedom (eleuthería) within the context of the Greek philosophical literature developed by Plato and Aristotle. The freedom referred in here is not derived only from the right or from the law, but also from the economics. It was, above all, the economic status that guaranteed free time for the citizen to take care of himself, of his own education and of the civic interests from the polis.
