Descripción
Sumario:The objective of this study was to diagnose the performance of the NIT-CDTN through interviews with researchers of the institute, addressing their experiences in the relationship with the NIT-CDTN, the knowledge about its institutional role and the perception about the relevance and effectiveness of the it´s work. In particular, it was analyzed the cooperation between CDTN and other ICT, companies and government bodies. It was observed that the researchers usually adopt informal partnerships, especially with universities, with focus in the formation of people. The main reason is the simplicity of its implementation and the lack of institutional controls and demands on its results. The researchers interviewed recognize the role of NIT-CDTN in the defense of intellectual property, but do not always understand well the other institutional functions of it and its limitations. The study makes clear that the CDTN needs to make efforts to consolidate the institutional presence of NIT-CDTN.
