| Resumo: | The aim of the study was to analyse the defensive and offensive tactical actions, as well as the technical-tactical continuity actions of the professional football goalkeeper throughout a season. Forty-two matches of a complete season of two professional football goalkeepers playing in the Spanish second division were analyzed by means of an observational analysis, analyzing the defensive and offensive tactical actions, as well as the specific technical-tactical continuity actions of the football goalkeeper. The main results show that the offensive actions are higher and more relevant than the defensive ones, with significant differences (p<0,00) in the offensive tactical and continuity variables depending on the part of the game and the period of play. Therefore, due to the analyzed performance, both in the planning and in the design of tactical training tasks, offensive tactical actions with the presence of teammates must be given priority over defensive variables. |
