Descripción
Sumario:This article investigates Social Design and User-Centered Design approaches in academic fashion projects. First, the fundamentals of the themes are presented. Then, a study of multiple cases in fashion projects is carried out in partnership with an NGO to support people with visual impairment in the city of Ponta Grossa (PR). The projects were guided by the user-centered methodology of IDEO's Human Centered Design toolkit. Case 1 was a tie-dye workshop co-project. Case 2 is empathic project, which resulted in a bag/backpack organizer. It was possible to verify the feasibility of the intersection of these approaches to carry out academic projects, providing an empathetic look between students and users.
