Descripción
Sumario:The objective of this work was to carry out a bibliographic survey to establish a photographic protocol applied to Orofacial Harmonization, which is easy to perform and which is useful to the dental surgeon, and other professionals in the area, while respecting the basic principles of photography. Literature review: This is important, since digital photo is a technological resource that facilitates the registration of images of interest and has been widely used in dentistry. The images play an important role in the planning and monitoring of treatment, both by the professional and the patient, and also allows a comparative analysis of the phases of the procedure. In Orofacial Harmonization (HOF), photographic standardization is extremely important to observe the evolution and changes provided by the procedures performed. We conclude, then, that there is a need to establish a standardization for the photographic record in the HOF, so that this is a form of documentation that composes the patient's medical record and allows the use of images in a precise and objective way, allowing the analysis of the evolution of the treatments performed.
