Sumario:Michel Foucault was the Chair Professor of the History of Systems of Thought in Collège de France, having done considerable research on the power, knowing, and subject. In 1973, Foucault gave five lectures at the PUC on Rio de Janeiro, covering topics which would be later developed and deepened worked in Discipline and Punish, 1975. The details of these conferences was built on the work A Verdade e as Formas Jurí­dicas, showing the different systems of truth through history. In this article we will discuss this work showing how part of a Foucault differentiation of learning and knowledge, through the Greek legal forms, by emergence of the judiciary in the Middle Ages and the mechanisms of control at the time modern, contemporary and even get to the economic control over the individual, through its productive force. Thus, the author shows how different practices engender different social domains of knowledge, and new subjects of knowledge.
