| Sumario: | This article addresses the problem of dismissal for cause of employee approving or “likes” disparaging comment released on Facebook against his employer. This is a typical phenomenon called the Information Society, period experienced by humanity where the diffusion of ideas, information and knowledge occurs in intensity ever seen, with the role of electronic networks such as the Internet. The conclusion drawn from a doctrinal examination, jurisprudence and postulates of ethics, is that the employee subscribes to that kind of comment is likely to be dismissed for cause, although the “like” occurred outside the physical working environment. The methodology used is the bibliographical study, focusing on the study of court case. |
