| Resumo: | The works of prussian general Carl von Clausewitz and of french sociologist Raymond Aron hold great importance in the greater circle of international relations theory. Clausewitzian considerations on war and aronian contributions on realist thought are themes that revel in importance. However, the relationship between them is complex. The objective of this paper is to analyse this relationship. It is held as hypothesis the idea that the first aronian interpretations on Clausewitz were, partly, vulgarized. |
