Thus, the objective of this study was to review the literature about the influence of physical activity on endothelial function and in the induction of endothelial progenitors in individuals with HF. Integrative review of literature in the PubMed database of productions from the last 10 years. The descriptors used were: "Heart Failure", "Exercises", "Physical Activity", and "Endothelial Progenitor Cells", which were combined to delimit the search. Nine articles were selected at the end of the search steps. Being the year 2010 the most prevalent with 33.3% of publications, followed by the year 2013 with 22.2% of publications. Regarding the country of origin of the studies, 66.6% were conducted in Germany, Belgium, and Taiwan (22.2% in each of the cited countries), followed by studies conducted in Italy, Greece, and the United Kingdom, each country with 11.1%. Evidence was found showing the effectiveness of exercise on endothelial repair and vascular mediator production, with emphasis on endothelial progenitor cells (EPCs).  In patients with heart failure of varying degrees, an increase in muscle neovascularization and an improvement in cardiac function are observed after physical activity, induced by EPCs. Thus, together with drug therapies, the adoption of lifestyle changes and physical exercise in individuals with heart failure and endothelial dysfunctions are recommended. Evidence also shows that there is an increase in the mobilization of other mediators that contribute to such improvements, such as CD34+ and VEGF. Regarding the improvement of endothelial function and the induction of endothelial progenitors, on average, the studies analyzed showed satisfactory results that clarify the importance of physical exercise in the quality of life and survival of HF patients.

Esta condición se agrava por la disfunción endotelial, en la que hay un desequilibrio en la producción endotelial de mediadores que regulan la homeostasis vascular. Por lo tanto, el objetivo de este estudio fue revisar la evidencia de la literatura sobre la influencia de la actividad física en la función endotelial y en la inducción de progenitores endoteliales en individuos con IC. Revisión integradora de la literatura en la base de datos PubMed de producciones en los últimos 10 años. Los descriptores utilizados fueron: "Heart Failure", "Exercises", "Physical Activity" y "Endothelial Progenitor Cells", que se conjugaron para delimitar la búsqueda. Al final de las etapas de búsqueda se seleccionaron nueve artículos. Siendo el año 2010 el más prevalente con el 33,3% de las publicaciones, seguido del 2013 con el 22,2% de las publicaciones. En cuanto al país de origen de los estudios, el 66,6% se realizaron en Alemania, Bélgica y Taiwán (22,2% en cada uno de los países citados), seguidos de los estudios realizados en Italia, Grecia y el Reino Unido, cada país con un 11,1%. Se han encontrado pruebas que demuestran la eficacia del ejercicio físico en la reparación endotelial y la producción de mediadores vasculares, con énfasis en las células progenitoras endoteliales (EPC).  En pacientes con insuficiencia cardíaca de diverso grado, se observa un aumento de la neovascularización muscular y una mejora de la función cardíaca tras la actividad física, inducida por las EPC. Así, junto con los tratamientos farmacológicos, se recomienda la adopción de cambios en el estilo de vida y ejercicios físicos en individuos con insuficiencia cardíaca y disfunciones endoteliales. Las pruebas también demuestran que hay un aumento en la movilización de otros mediadores que contribuyen a dichas mejoras, como el CD34+ y el VEGF. En cuanto a la mejora de la función endotelial y la inducción de progenitores endoteliales, en promedio, los estudios analizados mostraron resultados satisfactorios que aclaran la importancia del ejercicio físico en la calidad de vida y la supervivencia de los pacientes con IC.A Insuficiência Cardíaca é a deficiência do sistema cardiovascular de suprir as necessidades metabólicas dos tecidos corpóreos. Foram selecionados 9 artigos ao final das etapas de busca. Sendo o ano de 2010 o mais prevalente com 33,3% das publicações, seguido pelo ano de 2013 com 22,2% das publicações. Em relação ao país de origem dos estudos, 66,6% foram conduzidos na Alemanha, Bélgica e Taiwan (22,2% em cada um dos países citados), seguidos pelos estudos realizados na Itália, Grécia e Reino Unido, cada país com 11,1%. Foram encontradas evidências que mostram a efetividade do exercício físico na reparação endotelial e na produção de mediadores vasculares, com ênfase nas células progenitoras endoteliais (CPE).  Em pacientes com insuficiência cardíaca de graus variados, constata-se um aumento da neovascularização muscular e uma melhora da função cardíaca após a realização de atividades físicas, induzidas pelas CPE. Desta forma, em conjunto com as terapias medicamentosas, a adoção de mudanças no estilo de vida e a realização de exercícios físicos em indivíduos com insuficiência cardíaca e com disfunções endoteliais são recomendados. Evidências também mostram que há um aumento na mobilização de outros mediadores que contribuem para tais melhorias, como CD34+ e VEGF.
