Descripción
Sumario:This proposal discusses how the series As Five, from Globoplay, addresses gender, class, and race in the world of work. To understand this articulation, the concepts of consubstantiality and coextensivity are used as theoretical operators. The technique of Addressing Modes is used as an analytical tool to uncover the intentions of the producers of audiovisual texts and the negotiations between subject/viewer. The study shows that the series contributes to the advances in women's rights, still marked by wide social inequality that can be intensified depending on the intersection between different identity categories.
