| Sumario: | This article reproduces an investigation about the types of violence present in memes that portrayed the candidates for the Presidency of Brazil in 2014, theese which came from a questionable digital anarchy that occurred in that period. The main hypothesis of this study is that memes have induced netizens to negatively ideas about candidates and that these representations, were partly, elaborated by political groups that benefited from the secrecy generated by the digital enviroment to depreciate their opponents. Thus, the present study provides a broader reflection on such ilegal activities practiced in the field of the internet. KEYWORDS: Memes; violence; policy; internet; astroturfing. |
