Descripción
Sumario:In this article we will briefly compare the migration policy applied in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires and the City of Barcelona and how some regulations have a differential impact on the Senegalese population. In recent times we have observed a certain synchronicity with the operatives that criminalize the Senegalese workers in both cities. On the other hand, prizes awarded by transnational companies to judges, prosecutors and policemen have been publicized in the two cities for the persecution of migrants who sell counterfeit goods, so in this article we analyze the role of these companies in the configuration of a migration policy that criminalizes the Senegalese population. The methodology is a qualitative analysis consisting of a documentary compilation and an analysis of cases that have been documented through networks of activism and the written press of both cities.
