Sumario:The quotidian studies rebirth is widely linked to the politics structures, concerning the displacement of power from public and State institutions to the private sphere, through the politicizing of the quotidian. This research aims at analyzing how the Second World War influenced the quotidian of Curitiba during its occurrence, emphasizing the govemment's actions practiced against the citizens of German origin and at analyzing the performance of the civil population from Curitiba in that process. To accomplish the mentioned proposals the following sources were used: documents from the extinct Police Station of Political and Social Order of the State of Paraná, through thematic dossiers and individual folders originated from the Public File of Parana, and cuttings from the daily newspapers which circulated in Curitiba, such as "O Diano da Tarde!", "O Correio do Parana" and "A Gazeta do Povo", available in the Public Library of Paraná.
