| Resumo: | This article discusses possible connections between the concepts of ephemeral and memory, and their interlocutions with Lighting Design and History, having as motivation the event Fête des Lumières that takes place annually in the city of Lyon, France. Through bibliographic research, the discussion is based on the ideas of urban friendliness and affection, as a consequence of ephemeral interventions in cities, with affectivity considered as an instance that forms collective memory and identity. In this sense, it is argued that ephemeral and memory are concepts closer than their simplified terminological definitions suggest. |
