Sumario:Introduction: Futsal presents complex tasks during the game, demanding from the athlete good cognitive, physical and physiological performance for decision making, where sleep patterns guarantee improvements since it is related to the restoration and readiness for a good action in the game. Objective: To evaluate and correlate the sleep pattern of female futsal team players. Materials and Methods: The convenience sample of 10 adult female futsal players, with a mean age in years of 26.50 ±4.70 and body mass in kg of 54.83 ±8.51; The following instruments were used to verify sleep patterns: MEQ-SA for chronotype, ESS-BR for excessive daytime sleepiness during the training period and PSQI-BR for subjective sleep quality after competition via Google Forms. Results: Correlations were observed between chronotype and sleepiness (p=0.00 and r= -0.19), chronotype and subjective sleep quality score (p=0.00 and r=0.04), sleepiness and sleep quality score of sleep (p=0.06 and r=0.19). Discussion: in the findings, a poor sleep pattern is observed, thus, strategies for sleep hygiene are necessary in order to optimize performance. Conclusion: The sleep variables present, the worse the quality of sleep, the greater the vulnerability of sleep disorder related to sleepiness.
