Sumario:Introduction: Physical exercise is indispensable regardless of age, and its performance can positively impact on the mood state. Objective: to analyze the acute effect of a physical exercise program in different environmental conditions on the mood state of the elderly. Materials and Methods: 22 elderly women with a mean age of 66.3 (SD = 4.3) years participated. Two instruments were used: the Brunel scale, to evaluate the mood and the Borg scale, to control the exercises’ intensity. Four 30-minute-experiments were developed with climate, sound and environment modified. Descriptive and inferential analysis were used, with tests analyzed in SPSS® 21.0. Results: It was observed that none of the variables presented a difference between the periods. Conclusion: The program of physical exercise in different spaces, climate and with or without sound is effective to maintain the high level of vigor and the low level of fatigue, even with between not very intense and high intensity and during 30 minutes.
