Sumario:This article aims to problematize the reflections raised at the 9th Cycle of Cinema and Diversity extension event on the theme of masculinities and its relationship with intersectional aspects, which took place after the screening of the documentary “Bicha Preta”. Dialoguing from broad theoretical references of inclusion, it discusses masculinities and problematises their intersections. With a qualitative approach, we will analyse the reflections and powerful discussions triggered by the debaters and participants, based on the documentary on screen, using discursive textual analysis. We noticed a majority of men proactively participating in the event, discussing the experience of homosexual black men in a social context permeated by racism and homophobia. There was also an invasion of the broadcast with the intention of interrupting it, which demonstrates obvious prejudice, conservatism and the urgent need for these discussions to be visible.
