| Sumario: | This article aims to analyze the formation of ecological citizenship articulated to environmental education at school as a proposal for the change of attitudes and values about social and environmental issues. The research was carried out based on a descriptive study of document analysis type (books, book chapters and academic articles). The school is considered the main space to acquire and disseminate knowledge on the use of Environmental Education activity that enables the formation of ecological subjects, reflective, critical and proactive attitude, in order to act on mitigation of environmental impacts. Therefore, the practice of environmental education in school aims at the formation of Ecological Citizenship in favor of environmental protection. |
