Description
Summary:This study analyzed blood pressure values in beginners of regular physical exercise in Marechal Cândido Rondon, PR. Participants included 25 men (mean age: 25.56 years) and 28 women (mean age: 21.5 years), evaluated using a calibrated sphygmomanometer and following standardized protocols. Results showed that the mean systolic, diastolic, and average blood pressure levels were below hypertension thresholds in both sexes. It was concluded that most participants did not have hypertension, highlighting the importance of regular blood pressure monitoring as a preventive measure.
