Sumario:This article presents a pronunciation intelligibility small scale corpus, consisting of words pronounced by Brazilian learners of English, which hindered their speech intelligibility to native listeners. The words are derived from the results of 5 studies which investigated Brazilian learners’ pronunciation intelligibility. The corpus may serve as a guideline for teachers who follow the Intelligibility Principle (LEVIS, 2018), as well as illustrate pronunciation aspects which actually hindered Brazilian learners’ speech intelligibility.
