| Sumario: | This experience report addresses the restructuring proposal for the creation of the Journalism Course at the Faculty of Communication at the Federal University of Bahia (FACOM | UFBA). Still in process with the Pró-Reitoria de Ensino de Graduação (PROGRAD) for consideration by the Conselho Acadêmico de Ensino (CAE), the proposal was prepared by the Núcleo Docente Estruturante of Journalism and has integration as its main methodological strategy. The approach starts from the contextualization of the teaching of Journalism in Brazil and Bahia, which had the third course created in Brazil implemented in 1950 at UFBA. It then traces the route of journalism teaching at FACOM, its specificities, until reaching the aspects that guided the construction of the new Pedagogical Project of the Journalism Course?, expected to be implemented in 2022. |
