Sumario:This is an integrative literature review article objecting to analyze the scientific evidence that portray the benefits from the probiotics in the gut microbiota regarding diarrhea caused by antibioticotherapy. The seeking for articles was performed on the data base LILACS, PUBMED, SCIELO, being included publications referring the period of January, 2015 to May, 2020. The articles were subjected to two evaluations instruments, in order to verify the methodological quality of the studies. Five articles were selected for presenting evidence about the relation between probiotics and diarrhea treatment associated with antibiotics. According to the analyzed studies some probiotic strains influence in the diarrhea associated with antibioticotherapy reduction and prevention, causing the improvement of the pacients case.
