Sumario:Due to the increasing in elderly population growing, health actions directed to the rehabilitation and prevention are essential to enhance quality of life as people age. Consequently, differents interventions as the use of games are being adopted in physical and cognitive rehabilitation area because they are as motivating tools, making the most pleasurable therapies. The dissertation will be presented in a scientific production, objective was to investigate the effects of the Motion Rehab game at the attention and independence of elderly people after a stroke. The study had a pre and post-control intervention, which the population was 10 elderly people with ages between 61 and 79 years old, all patients from the Centro Regional de Reabilitação Física do noroeste do Estado do Rio Grande do Sul - Brazil. The population was composed equally by man and woman, with school levels from 4,7± 2,6 years. The research sessions were realized individually, once a week frequency, with 15 minutes long, during 15 weeks. The research tools were, Mini Mental State Examination, Functional Independence Measure, Geriatric Depression Scale and Colorful Trails Test. For data analysis it was used the T Test to the paired variables, where it was considered statistical significant test results those with probability values <0,05. The analysis of colorful trails test showed that the results had significant differences from form attention 2, reducing 330,5 ± 140,8 second to 259,4 ± 112,5 second (p=0,039) , interference 0,8 ± 0,5 to 0,4 ± 0,3 (p=0,036), beyond the functional independence aspect 102,3 ± 23,4 (modified dependence) and at the reevaluation a score of 107± 18,6 (modified independence) (p=0,044). These results showed that the game uses on the treatment of elderly people suffering from stroke consequences can be a new very to the rehabilitation of the limitations caused by these lesions
