Sumario:From the Social Studies of Childhood, in conjunction with the contributions of Contemporary Art studies, the article aims to discuss the proposition of play facilities in Early Childhood Education, as contexts for the production of performances by children through their interactions and games. Consequently, also presents guidelines for the creation of proposals for play facilities, inspired by contemporary art productions. Methodologically, the article consists of three stages. In the first stage, a bibliographic review on the theme is presented. In the second, an inventory of installations produced by contemporary artists is shared. Finally, in the third stage, analyzes of play episodes are presented experienced by children during sections of play facilities. From the analysis, it is possible to infer about the importance of the game facilities as a space for the production of games and performances by children.
