| Sumario: | Horizontal root fractures represent 7% of dental trauma. Factors such as fracture location, fragment dislodgement degree, and pulp condition determine the choice of treatments and tooth prognosis. The aim of this study is to present two successful case reports with the help of homeopathic medicines: Ferrum phosphoricum 6CH for maintaining vascularization and pulp vitality in the immediate treatment and a compound of Calcarea carbonica 6CH; Calcarea phosphorica 6CH and Calcarea fluorica 6CH in promoting tissue repair of these fractures. Both patients aged 14 and 17 years, respectively, had horizontal fractures in the cervical third of the upper incisor root. They were treated with rigid splint for 20 days, followed by weekly pulp vitality thermal tests for 3 months and imaging exams for 6 years. The teeth maintained normal pulp conditions, tissue repair of root fractures and optimal masticatory functions. |
