| Resumo: | This article aims to present an analysis of the role of the social worker in dispensing pharmacies of the Specialized Component of Pharmaceutical Assistance in the State of Espírito Santo, based on the narrative of social workers who work in the health service. This is an exploratory and descriptive study using a qualitative and quantitative approach, with data collection and analysis carried out between May/2021 and March/2022. As a result, it is observed that the practice of social workers Citizen Pharmacies is organized based on the ethical-political project of the profession, confirming the theoretical-methodological relevance materialized in the action mediated by the Social Work professional in the praxis of the health service, considering the policy of pharmaceutical assistance a legitimate space for social worker action. |
