Sumario:An experience report of the researchers in the development of a qualitative research is presented. The limits and the possibilities found in the realization of the field work are described, while adopting participant observation and semi-structured interview as techniques for data collection. The importance of the involvement level of the researcher with the subjects and some aspects that may interfere in the results to be achieved are emphasized.
