Descrição
Resumo:Algorithmic discrimination is perpetuating inequalities in the digital age, and transgender people are particularly affected by this phenomenon. Algorithms used in various areas, such as hiring, credit, and healthcare, have shown bias and tend to reproduce stereotypes and prejudices that exist in society. The article seeks to study this algorithmic discrimination and how it negatively impacts transgender people, limiting their employment opportunities, access to services, and affecting their mental health. It is realized that a concerted effort is needed to identify and mitigate these algorithmic biases in order to promote a more inclusive and equitable society in the digital age.
